Creation runs fun and informal adult and kids dance classes in London, Brighton and Oxford.

We believe that dance classes should be friendly, fun and welcoming to all levels, so even if you've got two left feet, there's nothing to stop you from coming to the course and enjoying the experience!

Creation started classes in Clapham in 2006 and never looked back. Since then we have taught over 1000 people how to dance, whether it's street, jazz or pole dance!!

Our classes are split into 3 terms per year:

Autumn

We run classes in several venues across London, Oxford and Brighton at different times of day or days of the week.


You will have 12 classes included in your session. If you miss one due to work commitments or holidays you can attend any of our other sessions during that term for free provided there is space available.

Urban Groove is a fun and funky street dance class for over 18's.

Street dance is a term used to describe the kind of dancing that you see in music videos of artists such as Justin Timberlake, Usher, Britney or Beyonce and covers a wide range of styles rooted in urban music, hip hop and R'n'B.

Because this style of dance is so energetic it's a great way to get in shape or keep fit!

Don't worry if you've never danced before, because this course is designed especially for complete beginners and will take you through the basics at your pace before moving on to the next step.

In our beginners courses you will learn:

How to learn and remember choreography
Basic warm up moves and street dance techniques
An introduction to floor work (moves on the floor!!)
Special moves to impress
A new street dance routine each week
Increased co-ordination and memory skills


Our beginners courses are a good introduction to dance, and are also a great way to improve if you're relatively new to dance or don't feel ready to move on to a faster class. All the classes in each course are different, so you can take more than one beginners course and have a completely unique experience each time!

Your instructor will be a fully trained and qualified professional dancer who has extensive performance and teaching experience. Each of our instructors will teach their own unique dance styles in their class, so content will vary, but each of the classes offer an exciting and new way to study dance, for fun or for something more!
