Boys in playground
Our Nursery is split into four classes: Piglets, Roos, Tiggers and Owls.
The welcoming, happy environment in our nursery classes makes it the perfect introduction to school life.
Small classes, friendly faces and busy children create an atmosphere conducive to learning and ensure that each child settles quickly.
As well as the four clean, bright and stimulating classrooms, our children also have daily access to the exceptional facilities of the main school and use on a regular basis the library, lunch hall, music room and fully equipped gymnasium.
Daily outdoor play is enjoyed on our two soft-surfaced play areas, complete with climbing frames and a variety of outdoor toys.
The curriculum is delivered through fun weekly topics that engage the children and stimulate them through structured play, practical experience, observation, investigation and exploration.
OUR AIMS AND ETHOS:
We aim to develop the whole child within an environment of academic excellence.
We create a secure, purposeful and happy atmosphere where each child is treated as unique and all children learn positive attitudes to work and play, developing self-confidence and respect for others.
We aim to blend traditional teaching with the best modern methods. All children are encouraged to become enthusiastic, independent learners.
We accept children the term following their third birthday. Children are then able to progress through the school, leaving for a variety of local prep schools when they are seven.
If you would like to contact the School Office we would be delighted to send you a copy of our prospectus.
