At Poppins we aim to be a 'home from home' creating the opportunity for each child to learn through play in a safe and caring environment.

We care for children aged from 6 weeks to 4 years for 50 weeks of the year (closed one week in August & one in December) and our opening times are from 8.00am to 6.00pm every weekday.

At Poppins we do our utmost to ensure that every child is happy and well cared for and that they leave us confident and ready for school.

Poppins is registered by Ofsted.

Our purpose built nursery complies fully with the latest regulations, including all the requirements and recommendations of the Childrens Act 1989 and will accommodate up to seventy two children.

The nursery exceeds the legal requirement of qualified staff.

ADMISSIONS PROCEDURE

Parents are invited to make an appointment to visit POPPINS and discuss their child's nursery education with our
Nursery Manager, Anne-Marie Carpenter.

Children are accepted on a first come, first served basis, with the place being confirmed by completion of the Registration process.

In the event of the appropriate place(s) or acceptable alternatives being unavailable, the names will be entered on a waiting list in strict order of the date on which Registration is completed.

At the time of Registration, a non-returnable administration fee of £25 is payable, together with a £100 deposit.

If you are booking more than three months in advance, one months fees will be payable to hold the advanced place.

The signed Registration Form denotes acceptance of the POPPINS Regulations.
