Dance Class
Whether you are new to dancing, or experienced; super talented, returning from some time away, or you simply dance for fun - then there is something for you! If there is anything that you would like to talk to me about, then please do not hesitate to contact me to discuss your individual dance needs.
I established DanceHouseUK in 2010 as the next step in my own dance career. I attended Elmhurst Ballet School before embarking on a professional dance career. This led me to many places around the world, including; Working with Peter Andre, Samantha Womack and Vanessa Mae, Television, Music Videos and the QE II world tour.
I then entered the education sector and taught a variety of dance styles, across all ages and levels. My work included GCSE, AS, A2 academic work, as well as consistently and successfully entering students in vocational exams in a number of dance styles and syllabi.
I have completed more qualifications myself recently, and regularly attend courses to remain up to date and accurate in the work I teach.
My combination of qualifications and experiences means that I am in the perfect position to guide, teach and advise any aspirational or recreational dancers; young, or not so young.
I do hope that you are able to join me.
You can be confident in choosing DanceHouseUK to teach you or your child the joy of dance.
Not only are our teachers some of the most talented and inspirational dance teachers around, but furthermore, all our staff undergo an enhanced CRB check and first aid provision is always available onsite.
In addition to individual qualifications and experiences, DanceHouseUK is a recognised school under the UK wide Council for Dance Education and Training.
I am personally familiar with many dance styles and syllabus used in the UK, including; RAD, ISTD and BBO.
We teach; ballet, modern, jazz, street jazz, hip-hop, tap, musical theatre and drama.
If there is interest in other dance styles, then we are more than willing to learn ourselves! Dance syllabi change frequently!
While we work hard to stay up to date with each examination requirement, if there is something that we don't know, we have the access and resources to find out, quickly and easily.
Mums and Toddlers will enjoy our creative dance and movement classes. They include themes of rhythm, timing, music, movement, shapes, stretching and also provide a welcome friendly environment to meet new people and make new friends.
DanceHouseUK also offers classes for adults. So, whether you are looking to try something new, returning to dance from some time away, or just looking for a fun activity to help toward improving your health and fitness, then we have classes that are right for you!
