Professional flamenco dancer, Ester Tal has opened her flamenco academy after 14 years of studying and working in Spain.

Ester's classes are accompanied by professional flamenco guitarist Uri, who alongside Ester co-produces their international flamenco company, Mi Tierra Flamenca.

Because Ester and Uri are professional performers the flamenco classes are thrilling both in choreography content and musical accompaniment.

The dance classes concentrate as much on compas (rhythm) and understanding of flamenco and its rich elements such as choreography and technique.

This aims to lead the student into a deeper understanding of flamenco in the firm belief that only this will enrich the dancer's own expression and enable him/her to develop fully.

There is focus too on technique so that each dancer has the necessary tools with which to work and the vocabulary needed to express themselves in a flamenco way.

There are regular classes at all levels, as well as workshops and private tuition available.
