Established in 2008, The Laura Bacon School of Dance has many years experience in the performing arts profession, and provides excellent high quality dance tuition to children and adults throughout the local area. The school is based in Yeovil.

The school aims to provide individuals with professional dance tuition and has fully qualified, professional and experienced staff. The expertly trained teachers ensure all pupils receive the best standard of tuition in the area. The school is designed to offer fantastic dance lessons while offering a fun and friendly environment every time.

The school offers a range of dance classes that are enjoyable for children and adults and are perfect for beginners to advanced level. The school offers a number of exciting classes, the class range includes ballet, modern, tap, street dance, parent and toddler dance, adult classes and much more. The class information is available by calling Laura. We offer classes to boys and girls from 2 years old.

Examinations are optional but the school is pleased to hold a successful 100% pass rate. We are extremely proud of this. Laura has taught many pupils who have furthered their dance careers by going on to train at prestigious dance schools and colleges, including, The Royal Ballet School, The Royal Academy of Dance, Laines Theatre School, Stella Mann Performing Arts College and Central Ballet School

We offer numerous performance opportunities including taking part in dance festivals, shows and competitions. The children thoroughly enjoy these fantastic opportunities.

The Laura Bacon School of Dance has a highly satisfied and rapidly expanding number of students, based in and around Yeovil, including the very young toddlers to the ever increasing number of adult students. The school is owned by Laura Bacon who has been involved in the Dance Schools and performing arts business for many years. Laura Bacon is a highly trained teacher who is more than able to run and take good care of the school, having previously trained at the Royal Academy of Dance, London and achieving the highest accolade.
