All of the cakes are designed and created by professional cake designer, Nicki Scott who trained at the National Bakery School in London.
We are renowned for our unique and inspirational wedding cake designs, and have gained recognition in the industry through editorial features in both National and Regional wedding publications.
We have also been part of a wedding documentary shown on the Discovery channel for SKY TV.
We also exhibit at many prestigious wedding shows such as The National Wedding Show in London and regional wedding shows.
Our unique range of cakes include tiered chocolate wedding cakes, traditional wedding cakes, cupcakes, croquenbouche, meringue towers, birthday cakes, celebration cakes and corporate cakes.
Each cake is handcrafted with the ultimate attention to detail.
All of our cakes are made using the finest ingredients.
Flavours include our award winning rich chocolate cake generously layered with a Belgian chocolate ganache, fresh lemon zest cake or classic vanilla, or our delicious fruitcake matured in rum and brandy.
All the cakes are made at the Studio in Great Dunmow, Essex and delivery is available throughout London and the South East.
At Serendipity Cakes, Nicki offers a personal and professional service from your initial consultation to delivery and set up.
Visits to the Studio are available by appointment and under no obligation, where Nicki gives advice and experience to tailor make your own bespoke wedding cake design.

Your cake was absolutely amazing. I can't tell you how thrilled we were with the cake, it was absolutely wonderful. It looked gorgeous and tasted absolutely stunning. We'd done a load of research and we'd tasted cakes at many other companies with the aggressive marketing and the quality of theirs was genuinely not a patch on yours. Your cake was unbelievably moist, amazingly chocolaty and tasted like it was seriously good quality. I also loved the way it looked. What I'd wanted was a very pure look, very classical, no one would know that hidden beneath that white exterior was this amazing, gooey chocolate secret. Gorgeous.

Take junction 8 on the M11 following the A120 East (sign posted
Stansted / Colchester / Chelmsford) to Great Dunmow.
Exit at the first Great Dunmow turning.
Follow the road following signs for Great Dunmow.
When you arrive at the roundabout at Tescos, go straight
over.
At the next roundabout take the first exit marked Town Centre.
Do not go into the Town Centre but take the second turning on the
left - Rosemary Lane and follow this down the hill to the mini roundabout turning left.
Take the next turning on the right - B1057 marked Finchingfield and Great Bardfield.
Pass the Angel & Harp pub, go over the humped backed bridge and follow the road out for about ½ a mile.
Maples Studio is on the left handside.
