David Robbins founded Maindee Tree And Garden Service in 1998.

Since leaving school David has worked under well recognised Aborists' of the trade with Newport County Council.

This organisation has practised Arboriculture to extremely high standards, making sure amenity tree work is second to none.

This has enabled David to gain the skills and experience that delivers the high quality of work that David Robbins The Tree Expert and Tree Surgeon produces today.

Before David left Newport County Council he was the main tree expert in this area handling tree preservation orders, tree conservation, tree disease recognition and treatment, eventually travelling to other area's as an agent for the local authority helping other authorities with his highly skilled knowledge.

David became frustrated with the overhead management costs of the local authority, often having to place orders on trees belonging to private individuals who were unable to afford the local authorities prices that included their huge overheads. Tree removal and even tree pruning was often too expensive for private customers.

David Robbins has many regular local customers as a result of his expert tree service.

Maindee Tree and Garden Services was formed to give the individual customer expert tree and garden services at prices that ordinary people could afford, taking the view that tree service and garden service was being priced out of the scope of many individuals who were in need of these services.

David decided to do something about this, bringing the costs down to meet the needs of the smaller private customer.
