The Dilapidations Consultancy Ltd is an independent firm of specialist consultant Chartered Building Surveyors regulated by the RICS. We provide leading expert advice and consultancy on the preparation, negotiation and management of dilapidation claims in commercial premises throughout the UK acting for both Landlords & Tenants in the public and private sectors.

We are involved at all stages of the commercial property life cycle, from the preparation of detailed Schedules of Condition for clients shortly to occupy premises in poor condition, to the negotiation of Dilapidation claims at lease termination. We also prepare specialist Dilapidations Assessments for larger corporations filing accounts under the FRS12 accountancy standards; this provides for accurate balance sheet provisioning and assists corporation tax deferral.

We cover the whole of the UK and are retained by large portfolio holders in the capacity of both owner and occupier and are appointed to provide specialist advice on leasehold exit strategy; this involves the maximisation of claim recovery for Landlords and reduction/mitigation of liability for Tenants.
