We have recently (July 2008) had a new roof installed by Phillip and Stuart from HQ Roofing and Property Development. From start to finish they have done a thoroughly excellent job using quality materials. Phillip and Stuart offered a comprehensive breakdown of the work which helped us compare other quotes and we were particularly pleased to be kept informed of start dates and progress. Whatever was promised was delivered on time. We were updated on progress with photos and all options were clearly discussed. It was pleasing that everyday Stuart and Phillip made sure mess was tidied up. Despite severe weather after the felt was laid nevertheless we didn't suffer any leaks and so didn't have to make use of the 24 hour emergency call-out service. However it was comforting to know that we could have called out-of-hours. The work was completed on time with Phillip and Stuart working late and at the weekend to ensure this. The new roof looks superb and we have no hesitation in recommending HQ Roofing and Property Development.

I had HQ Roofing repair my house roof after bad storm damage,which basically involved removing all the remaining slates,replacing the wood struts (I think that's what they're called!) refelting and replacing all the slates,in effect a new roof. Within a few hours of contacting them (who I'd heard of by way of mouth by the way),they were on site firstly putting up tarpaulin to protect what was left on the roof,then telling me how much it would cost should I wish to proceed.I checked around a couple of local roofers,and their prices,although HQ were a little pricier than some,they weren't half as expensive as most! Without rambling on any more, the job was fully completed,with guarantee, within 3 days,and the roof now makes the rest of the house look shabby! Good job from a good company.

After contacting several roofing companies, I try to go with the ones who appear honest. Phil and his colleague came across as genuine people and not full of "hot air". I then explained that I worked and that I would prefer him to do a Saturday, this was no problem and when they arrived they worked very hard and cleaned up after themselves. I have a very difficult neighbour who came out to give them grief but they dealt with her politely and were very understanding of her concerns and said that they would leave her their card and if she had any problems regarding their work she could call them.
