Acrecliffe is a family run Equestrian Centre set in 30 acres on the outskirts of Otley, West Yorkshire. Established in 1964, we have developed to offer a range of facilities from the new rider to the serious competitor.

Acrecliffe has an excellent reputation for producing the very best equestrian knowledge and outstanding riders in a safe and friendly environment.

We offer professional training to all levels and ages of riders, whatever you are looking for we can cater for your needs:
Learning to Ride

Whatever your level of ability we can help you develop your riding.

Weekly classes cater for all riders from complete beginner onwards where you can develop at your own pace, progressing to more advanced classes as becomes appropriate.

We also provide private tuition sessions to meet your own needs and can devise a bespoke program for you.

Examination Training
We provide a full training programme for those who wish to follow a career based option. This follows the BHS route from Stage 1 through to stage 3, PTT and encompasses additional courses in BHS Riding & Road Safety and BHS Horse Owners Certificate.

Examination Centre
For the past 10 years we have successfully trained pupils of all ages and abilities to succeed in attaining internationally recognised qualifications. In addition, we have successfully gained recognition as a BHS Examination Centre, so not only offer the highest standard of BHS training but also the opportunity to take your exams at the centre at which you trained.

Specialist Training
We can facilitate those wishing to learn specialist skills or develop them up to competition level in a range of areas including:

Side saddle riding, equitation and jumping.

Dressage.

Show jumping - BSJA and working hunter.

Showing to County level.
