The Bell at Iden
Rye, East Sussex
The bell at iden
Legend has it that the original building was used as accommodation for the monks that built Iden church. It's is also thought that there is a tunnel between the pub cellar and the church. Although this has not been discovered, we do keep our eye out for the vicar turning up in the cellar!
Today, we serve homemade food, real ales, continental lagers, and have a superb wine list. We welcome both well behaved children and dogs.
We have wonderful beer gardens for enjoying the summer, and a warm cosy snug with a wood burning fire.
Sunday roast, and vegetarian nut roast served every sunday noon till 3.30pm booking recomended.
Lighter bites available try our homemade hamburgers 100% beef.
