The Square And Compass is a beautiful country inn with parts dating back some 500 years. The low beams and log burning fires, traditional home cooked food, Real Ales and fine wines make your stay memorable.

Our pub has three external rooms, all decorated to a high standard, including tea/coffee making facilities, TV and radio to make your stay comfortable. We are soon to be fully wireless throughout the inn.

We serve a wide range of good value food in the bar and restaurant. Sunday lunch is served 12 to 6pm!
