Phil has over twenty years of professional studio and location photography experience working with Art Directors, Creative Directors, Senior Designers, Marketing Directors, marketing departments and Managing Directors.

As a specialist in high quality, creative location photography, commissions regularly include engineering, industrial, manufacturing and office environments as well as new build architectural, installation and construction projects.

Corporate portraiture is also regularly commissioned due to Phil's great people skills, efficient time management and creative quality cost efficient results.

Phil's recent Masters Degree in documentary photography has added another level of assignments offered by means of creative editorial and documentary photography for both editorial and advertising markets.

Based in the Northwest of England, UK, location photography is undertaken locally in Manchester, Oldham, Rochdale and the surrounding areas. Additionally, assignments are also undertaken throughout the rest of the UK, finally worldwide assignments have included Paris, Siena, Tuscany, Cuba, USA and Canada.

Assignments are undertaken on both high resolution digital SLR and state of the art medium format digital backs thus offering the best in high resolution imaging.

Conventional large format 5x4 photography with film is also still available.

Fully portable high quality studio lighting equipment is often taken on appropriate location commissions to create the ultimate in professional image quality.

The latest in computer technology is also taken on appropriate location commissions thus giving the client an opportunity to review their images live at the time of the shoot.

Studio facilities include Phil's main base in a historic mill in the beautiful setting of Greenfield in Saddleworth, the studio also boasts a fine art gallery to represent Phil's stunning environmental, documentary and fine art photography.

This has proved popular with a number of Phil's regular corporate and advertising clients who have purchased 'corporate art' for their boardrooms, office space and corporate gifts.

For those who prefer a city environment, a secondary studio is available in central Manchester with a third option being a drive-in studio in Trafford Park.

Phil is an Associate Grade of the British Institute of Professional Photography and was recently awarded a Masters Degree in International Documentary, Travel and Photojournalism by The University of Bolton.
