The Association has acquired properties through new build over a number of years and at 19th November 2009 the Association owned 532 properties.
There are also plans to develop a further 41 properties during the current financial year.
The association is also involved in a number of non-housing projects focused on renewable energy, sustainable communities and business development.
Ore Valley Housing Association has properties located right across Fife including an increasing number of mortgage-to-rent properties.
Applications to rent these properties can be made through the Fife Housing Register - a unified application process supported by Fife Council and the four housing associations located within the region.
Beyond the housing sector, OVHA also operates a community recycling project called '2nd Time Around' aimed at recycling domestic and white goods to assist local families, new tenants etc.
In addition, a biomass-fed district heating scheme is under development in partnership with Fife Council as well as a number of community owned large scale wind turbine projects at various sites across Fife.
We are also developing a fibre-optic broadband network provision for Cardenden.
