Trapdoor Theatre academy is a performing arts school based in Spalding and surrounding areas, teaching all forms of theatre.

We teach IDTA ballet, tap, theatre craft, modern jazz and freestyle, UKA choreography,LAMDA acting and speech and drama and Trinity Guildhall performance arts and musical theatre. We also teach back stage skills such as lighting, sound and technical design. All staff are highly qualified to provide the very best tuition. We also offer teacher training to our senior students.

Exams are taken with the IDTA, UKA, LAMDA and Trinity Guildhall throughout the year. We hold classes from 3 years old through to adult. We also pride ourselves in the amount of activities offered throughout the year.

We perform a musical and a play every year and students take part in festivals, competitions and charity events. We also hold easter and summer schools where students of all ages come together for a very fun week.

Staff direct and produce for local theatre groups which our students are invited to become involved in. We have links with professional performers and dancers who regulary visit and hold workshops for our students.
