The Yorkshire Ballet Academy is a highly recommended dancing school in North Leeds, specialising in classical ballet, and offering the finest training in all aspects of dance.

We follow the ISTD Cecchetti Ballet Syllabus, and the ISTD modern, tap, Syllabi. All classes are taught by an Ex-Principal Ballerina from The English National Ballet. Simone trained for 7 years at The Royal Ballet School and joined Sadlers Wells Royal Ballet( now The Birmingham Royal Ballet) in 1988, She became a first Soloist and joined The English National Ballet in 1998 as a Principal Ballerina.

Simone has great artistic experience and therefore able to train dancers to the very top of their chosen art form. Simone is also a very talented choreographer and so we have showcases, competitions, presentations and examinations taking place throughout each year.

Private Coaching is available and Repertoire Classes will be coming shortly. Anyone who wishes to make a career out of dance would benefit by being at this school.
