We have over 200 dancers at our school from one year olds to older adults.

Pre school classes: We run fun and interesting dance class for very young children to come along to with grown ups.

Children's classes:
Children do show and syllabus work every year.
Shows: From October to March the school works towards a charity dance show, which each year raises over one thousand pounds for Childline Northwest.

This is a great opportunity to develop confidence, self expression and the ability to work together. Dancers are also supported in choreographing their own dances, which they can perform as a solo or with siblings or friends.

Syllabus: From April to October everyone follows the NATD syllabus, leading to an optional exam in October. This teaches all the elements of dance including technique and self-discipline.

Adult classes:
On Friday evenings we have adult classes in ballet, tap and modern. These classes allow members to develop their dance skills whilst exercising. A great way to start the weekend!

Junior Teaching Assistants (JTAs):
We have an excellent group of older pupils who are JTAs for all the younger classes.

JTAs develop a wide range of transferable skills such as communication and organisation, which are useful for their future, and also provide invaluable help for the rest of the school.

History:
Over thirty years ago, Diane Beaumont founded our dance school in the Parish Rooms on Church Road in Cheadle Hulme. Fiona joined the school in 1988 and started teaching in 1997. In 2004 Diane retired and Fiona became Principal, and in 2006 we moved to our current premises on Swann Lane.
