Jaide's Stage Studios
Jaide Ellery -Principal, started the school 10 years ago at the age of 14yrs in a small scout hut as a hobby offering just one subject in street danc.
The school now offers almost 40 classes per week in various dance and drama subjects with the IDTA, the AUTD & UKCA syllabus, with a register of over 200 dedicated students.
Ballet, Tap, Modern Jazz, Cheerleading, Theatre Craft, Gymnastics, Musical Theatre and Melody Bear Classes are offered to all children from 2 years to adult classes and from beginners to advanced levels.
Jaide, who choreographs each and every dance, whilst her mother, Sandra, markets and organises events and runs the administrative and business aspect, teaches all classes personally.
Students have performed at the London Palladium, Her Majesty's Theatre and at Disneyland in Paris.
The school has been featured on BBC Midlands Today, a Channel 4 television documentary, ITV Central News, and more recently in Connie Talbot's Christmas Show on ITV as well as filming for a pop video for 'Early Learning'.
Opportunities for castings in the West End and auditions such as Britain's Got Talent are also encouraged.
Students are also introduced and recommended to various stage schools for scholarship placements and Jaide's Stage Studios also offer scholarship placements within the school and award encouragement certificates, based on their progress throughout the year.
As well as achieving 100% success rate with an average of three exam sessions per year, the school has achieved numerous business awards, including the prestigious 'Business of the Year' Award 2008.
After recently achieving major teaching exams in four dance subjects, including the introduction of 'Cheerleading' and Melody Bear Toddler classes , Jaide is currently studying towards her Fellowship and Licentiate examinations to become a national board examiner and adjudicator.
Jaide's Stage Studios were accredited with a recognised status by the CDET, The Council for Dance Education and Training and operate a code of conduct, based on the efficiency, professionalism and standard of work within the school.
A committee of dedicated volunteers, who lend their services during events, all hold enhanced CRB police checks.
An annual production, showcasing the student's skills and talents, together with an annual competitive dance festival and a Christmas Show, as well as a drama production are the schools main events throughout the year.
Sylvia Young OBE from the famous Sylvia Young Theatre School in London is a regular guest to shows, and television celebrities, the 'Kombat Breakers' have performed alongside the students on stage.
Niki Evans a finalist from Simon Cowell's 'X' Factor has also visited the studios and is now Patron of the School together with Wayne Sleep OBE.
Niki is currently performing the lead role of Mrs Johnston, in Blood Brothers for a second time in London's West End, and attended the 10th Anniversary Show at the end of April 2010 as a celebrity guest and handed out medals and awards to all the students.
With the recent advertising campaigns, encouraging healthy exercise, Jaide's Stage Studios applied to the Charities Commission and were accepted as a recognised and registered Charity, which operates under the name of Jaides Limited.
A sponsored walk and a Christmas Bazaar were organised immediately raising almost £1500.
This Charity now enables the school to offer free and subsidised placements to all children within the community, subject to status, including the dis-advantaged, the under-privileged, children of parents on low incomes, special needs, low academic achievers and the black and ethnic minorities.
A uniform is also included with the placement subject to available funding.
In conclusion, Jaide's Stage Studios offers opportunities to all children and young people, and by participating in regular classes, helps build self-esteem and confidence.
This in turn is beneficial to students enabling them to perform better in school and also helps build social relationships whilst enjoying healthy exercise.
Potential anti-social behaviour is also reduced, which in turns, helps reduce crime rates.
New interests and hobbies are introduced leading to potential future employment within the performing arts and in sport related activities establishing future careers.
Details regarding any of the above can be obtained through the contact details below.
This is no gimmick and there are no catches - free places with uniform included are offered to those genuinely interested in pursuing dance.

I would like to give my full support to Jaide for an award. I have been extremely privileged to have had regular contact with her Studios from the very beginning and have witnessed the transformation of this business venture into a very robust enterprise.
What makes this business so very special is the way Jaide encourages and inspires the children to achieve outstanding results. She does so in a way that helps build confidence in their ability to make progress in their skill levels and in realising their potential.
Jaide is a very talented and gifted dancer and well as a tutor, choreographer and producer. She generates enthusiasm, a determination to succeed and makes even the most difficult work, fun and something to be thoroughly enjoyed.
She strives to make dance 'open' to all who wish to participate and I know that she has taken steps to make this a formal aspect of her school. Many young people would not have been able to enjoy such fulfilling life experiences but because of her commitment and dedication she has made this possible for so many.
She is also an excellent communicator and public speaker, and able to express complex concepts clearly to children and adults alike.
The respect and affection shown to Jaide by her students and their families is palpable. This has been achieved without any loss in her authority and brilliant leadership skills.
I have no reservations whatsoever, in recommending Jaide for an award, in particular I personally feel she would be an admirable and worthy winner for any award, a true inspiration and a role model for Rugby and its community.
Yours faithfully
