Carmichael School of Theatre Arts
Operating from the Depot, our well equipped, modern studios, benefiting from floor to ceiling mirrors.
We provide a professional, caring service, to enhance your learning experience.
Offering tuition at all levels for dance, including ballet, tap, modern and jazz, drama and singing.
The RAD and ISTD syllabi are training systems that set and safeguard the standards of dance for hundreds of thousands of students throughout more than forty countries all over the world.
Our prime concern is to ensure that the unformed bodies of young children are protected from the damage that can result from poor teaching and that the students are taught correctly and at the right speed.
The staff at this school are fully qualified and registered to teach the syllabi correctly, creatively and above all safely.
All staff have Enhanced CRB disclosures
We offer:
Intense training for the gifted student - leading onto a professional career
A happy and rewarding hobby for the child who loves to dance - as part of an all round education

We have examination sessions every term and all students are eligible to take part in our bi-annual show.
We have contracts to provide dancers for local professional pantomimes
School Policy
We have a three week (consecutive) trial period, paid in advance, for the student to settle in and then if they wish to continue, we ask for payment until the end of term.
Fees are payable per term, they must be paid in the first three weeks of term
It is necessary to correct instruction that the teacher will make appropriate physical contact with the student
