The intention of the clinic is to provide Chiropractic care to all the family, from the young, to teenagers, to adults and to the older ladies and gentlemen.

Many people only go and see Chiropractors when they are in pain and discomfort. People will "put up" with aches and stiffness. This is the wrong thing to do! When people do this it can start to affect small, day to day activities which then has a negative effect of a person's life.

Please do not wait for symptoms to develop causing more pains and problems. Be "Proactive" and not "Reactive"; we recommend you do not just put up with it!

A main aim of the Coastal Chiropractic Clinic is for everyone to be assessed and examined regularly, to help try and reduce people's aches and stiffness's developing into severe pains. We aim to keep people feeling good.

During the initial consultation a case history will be taken; then with the patient's consent a full thorough examination will take place.

We will measure blood pressure, check how the nervous system is working, assess muscle tension and check how joints in the body are functioning.

This will be followed by a report of findings explaining what has been found and if Chiropractic can help. If we can help, a plan of management specific to the patient will be developed. If we cannot help the patient will be referred to the appropriate health care practitioner.

Chiropractors take an integrated and holistic approach to the health needs of their patients, considering physical, psychological and social factors.

They provide care and support by reducing pain and disability and by restoring normal function to people with neuro-musculoskeletal disorders.
