Directions by Road
Approaching Eastbourne from Hailsham on the A22, take the road signed A27 south off the main Polegate roundabout rather than the A27 east, which is signposted Eastbourne. This half-mile north-south section of the A27, also known as the Polegate by-pass, is still marked on some maps as the A22. At traffic lights continue straight ahead following signs for the A2270, formerly A22, which becomes the Eastbourne Road and then Willingdon Road. At the Willingdon roundabout go towards the Town Centre rather than Seafront, still on the A2270: this continues as Willingdon Road and then Upperton Road as far as a roundabout by the railway station.
Take the second turning off into Grove Road past the Police Station and Town Hall and continue into Meads Road, which takes you out of central Eastbourne towards Beachy Head.
Go as far as the roundabout, branch slightly right for the last part of Meads Road, and the Clinic is a couple of hundred yards up on the left, more or less opposite the Elstree Court Nursing Home.
Approaching from the seafront, either branch right up South Cliff onto St John's Road as far as Meads Road, go left and we are a few yards further on the left; or turn right at St Bede's School and go along Meads Street to the roundabout at the junction with Meads Road: turning right there, you see the Clinic on your right.
Approaching from Seaford and East Dean on the A259, turn right onto the B2103 and follow this downhill as Beachy Head Road into Meads:
we are about fifty yards past the mini-roundabout at the junction with Meads Street (signposted Village Shops) on the right.
