The Heating Place is primarily a fire / fireplace showroom. We took the showroom over in 2008 with a view to upgrading it with some renewable energy products and advice, and provide servicing, central heating, maintenance contracts and more.

On the renewables side we also provide solar hot water, ground source heat pumps and air source heat pumps, all of which our parent company (The Family Gas Care Co, Accrington) are experts in.

Established originally in 1980, The Family Gas Care Co changed ownership in 2005 and has a customer database of some 4,000 regular customers, all of who have regular annual service work, or have taken advantage of the service/maintenance contracts. These cover any gas appliance. The FULL system cover is £12.42 per month, and gas fires are £6.66 per month.

We currently employ 9 staff, all of who are full time, and not sub contracted. All our boiler installations are usually Worcester Bosch products, for whom we are accredited installers and service partners. With these products you receive a 5 years manufacturers guarantee, a full powerflush and extra protection from a Magnaclean filter to prevent iron-oxide ever damaging your new boiler.

Our service is second to none. Fires are brought up to as near new condition as possible and we are Lancashire/Brilliant fires approved service/repair agents.
