Oaklands is a small exclusive cattery situated in Sarisbury Green near the River Hamble off the A27 between Southampton and Fareham in Hampshire. It is a few minutes from either junctions 7 or 9 of the
M27.

Oaklands cattery consists of 12 individually designed runs which have more than enough room to accommodate one or two cats comfortably in accordance with Fareham borough council licensing standards.

The runs all look out over a very large garden that attracts a variety of wildlife.

Oaklands has been designed to keep your pets safe, comfortable and as entertained as possible.

The pens are of upvc construction and the perimeter is completely double glazed.

When open, each window has the benefit of a fly screen fitted with pet-resistant mesh thus maintaining security, air flow and insect free conditions.

Each run has private sleeping quarters with a "warm touch" heater and extractor fan as well as a large exercise area complete with access ramp, scratch posts, log and toys.

The floor of each unit is individually tiled to ensure maximum hygiene and inner doors have rigid 50mm mesh panels for ventilation.

The cattery roof has an exterior retractable blind controlled manually or by wind and light sensors to maintain a stable environment within.

Cat baskets and bedding are supplied but we do encourage owners to bring in their pets' own bedding etc if they prefer.

There is a comprehensive range of wet and dry food available and prescription diets are also catered for.

Medication can be administered for short term problems and for long term illnesses such as diabetes.

We do have a resident veterinary nurse.
