Recent projects include the complete refurbishment of a pre 1850 two bedroom end of terrace cottage.

This project involved the re-building of the original timber frame, extending the roof line to create additional head room to the second storey, and installation of services as well as complete redecoration throughout to accommodate the needs of the new occupants.

As well as repositioning the internal walls to create an open plan kitchen and dining area, the building received new windows throughout, replacement of the flooring to the ground and first floor and the creation of a loft space.

The original timber joists were then used in the decoration of the cottage to maintain the character.

Whilst retaining the charm of the original working fire places in both the lounge and master bedroom, the kitchen and bathroom have been modernised with a fully fitted kitchen and bathroom suite.

The original slate tiles were also re-used to tile the roof to ensure that the appearance remains in-keeping with the adjacent cottages.

This project is currently on schedule and is due to be completed by the start of October.
