Karen Forte has been established since 1999. The spacious surroundings of the elegant shop make selecting your wedding gown a pleasure. Karen Forte is a family run business and dresses hundreds of Brides, their mothers' and bridesmaids every year.

Many customers coming into the shop have been recommended by friends who have first hand experience of the friendly, welcoming staff and the considerable number of gowns in stock. Being the largest bridal shop in the area has the advantage over other shops, due to the extensive collections held.

Karen Forte also carries a beautiful bridesmaid and flowergirl collection. With your own personal assistant, to guide you through the collections, showing you the relevant swatches and taking your bridesmaids measurements.

Mothers of the Bride and Groom also have a wonderful collection from which to select their special outfit. With the emphasis on a 'Younger look' for those fashion conscious mothers, who also want something very special for their daughter/sons wedding day. Karen & Charlie have sourced collections from all over Europe, so you'll see something different and unique.

There is also a wonderful collection of hats, fascinators, shoes and matching bags, even jewellery to complete your look. With once again the staff on hand, to offer honest advice and help regarding your purchases. We want you to be completely delighted.

Karen Forte is open six days a week from 9.30 - 5.00 it is strongly recommended you make an appointment prior to visiting, however if we are open you are more than welcome to drop in and browse though the collections. Should your outfits need any tailoring, we have a very skilled team of seamstresses whom are based at the shop in Bassingbourn to make sure the all important 'fit' is perfect for everyone of your Bridal party.

The shop is very easy to find, on the A1198 between Royston & Cambridge our car park is situated at the rear of the property.
